Tesla’s electric pick-up truck model, Cybertruck, was introduced a few years ago and faced several glitches and delays after its announcement. The yet-to-be-revealed interior design of the vehicle was among the points of curiosity. A user claimed to have recorded photos of Cybertruck’s interior at a special event attended by Musk and leaked these photos on a forum site where Tesla-related discussions take place. Here are the details.
The Cybertruck design divided Tesla fans in half!
The leaked Cybertruck design was found to be highly intriguing. The vehicle, which is more minimalist than expected, was liked by many forum users but also criticized by some. The design features an innovative steering wheel and an unusual center console design consisting of a large screen. While some described this design as “coming straight out of a low-budget sci-fi movie,” expressing their liking by stating that it is “simple and minimalist,” others had their reservations.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that Cybertruck would be available for sale this year. Although the pick-up model, starting at $39,900, will be introduced for users this year, the production capacity to meet the demand can only be achieved by 2024. Considering previous statements and the lengthening production processes, there are some questions about how well Musk’s announcement reflects the production timeline.
Cybertruck will be offered for sale with three different hardware options. The prices for the introduced models, powered by one, two, or three motors, will be as follows:
- Single motor: $39,900
- Dual motor: $49,900
- Tri motor: $69,900
